I ♥ Alalum Falls

I was invited to cover a task, but it turned out discovering more exciting view in Sumilao, like plantations and nature spots. Every adventure is my wish, one of it is to see a splendid waterfalls. I was given a chance to see the 148 ft Alalum Falls (my first hike in the place), just along the national highway of Kisolon, Sumilao, located in the northeastern part of Bukidnon, approximately 62 kilometers from Cagayan De Oro City and 29 kilometers from the provincial capital, the City of Malaybalay. We started to walk from Sumilao Municipal Hall at around 11:20 and reach the bottom about 15 minutes with stops and poses for photographs already, a total of 30 minute hike only. I enjoyed it since it's very accessible and the view is really stunning.

It is surrounded by a vast green forest that gives it more beauty and charm.
There still no amenities down there so as to date coming at the bottom of the waterfalls is still free.

L : JeneRey Capoy told us that there are different scorpion species in this small cave.

How to get there:

If you’re from Luzon or Visayas you can book a plane to Laguindingan Airport. From the airport you can ride a passenger van (ex. Magnum Express at 199php). Ask if they can drop you in the Cagayan de Oro bus terminal, then ride a bus bound to Bukidnon that will cost you more or less 100php, and may take you more than 3 hours ride depends on the traffic situation.  If you ride through private car more or less 2 hours. If you're from Malaybalay City, just a fare of 35php and you'll get there by bus or multicab.
